Retina Specialists is a group of ophthalmologists who have come together to offer their special expertise in diagnosis and treatment of retinal disorders. We are able to perform state-of-the art diagnostic testing with digital angiography, ocular coherence tomography and electrophysiological testing of the retina. We are New Zealand’s most experienced practitioners of photodynamic therapy for macular degeneration, and also offer other therapeutic modalities where appropriate. With consultants in medical and surgical retinal disease, we are able to offer a comprehensive retinal service. In addition to our special interest in retinal disease, we are also very happy to provide a general ophthalmology service and are able to manage the full range of eye disorders.
